Sarah Amato ~Arkansas Artist ~

My passion for the outdoors has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of Arkansas, I developed a deep connection to wild places — a connection that naturally found its expression through my art. What I always remember most is trying to capture my time spent outside on paper. I have always loved to paint. Whether it was animals or capturing the stillness of a quiet forest, creating became my way of telling the stories nature inspired.

Over the years, I have earned recognition for my work, receiving awards in wildlife art competitions throughout Arkansas. These honors reflect not just technical skill, but my commitment to sharing the quiet wonder and complexity of the natural world.

Through my paintings, I hope to inspire others to look more closely at the world around them — to appreciate its beauty, understand its value, and feel a deeper connection to it. Art is my way of giving voice to the landscapes and wildlife I love, and of contributing to a greater conversation about conservation and care. I feel like I have a story to tell, one which I can only convey through my work.
